Very fortunate to have been given the chance to venerate this relic, the arm of St Jude, the other evening here in central California, in the relic’s first-ever tour outside of Italy! OFFICIAL WEBSITE: Saint Jude: THE APOSTLE OF THE IMPOSSIBLE Fr Carlos Martins on the Visit of the Relic:
All thanks to you! We had to wait in line for over 2 hours (not as bad as in other places, according to our friend who went to a different one in LA county) while the Mass took place. They were more organized here in Santa Clarita compared to others. It was well worth it.
And it was wonderful to see long, snaking line of many hundreds, maybe thousands already, waiting. in line. We even had a Lutheran and Methodist in line with us, who while they don't believe in saints as Catholics do, went ahead and prayed for someone's serious health condition just the same! Got to pray part of two rosary mysteries in Latin and English with a small group, too.
I do think there is a palpable trend of more people returning to the Faith, or at least to faith.
How inspiring! The French and Italian nuns at our priory were impressed by the level of devotion that they saw in Phoenix. Many people wear scapulars and brought their children... And how lovely to see potential conversions in the making; He sends His graces, making good from even illness and suffering...
I knew you'd make it!
